Booking, step by step

  1. Step 01

    Pick a session

From a mentor's profile, the mentors directory, or a card the mentor shared with you in chat.

  2. Step 02

    Pick a date and time

A month calendar with only the days that have open slots, and a time column headed with your own time zone. Slots already started are dropped.

  3. Step 03

    Review

Session time, duration and fee on one screen, with your time zone spelled out.

  4. Step 04

    Send request

Free sessions go to the mentor for a yes. Paid sessions open checkout and hold your slot while you pay.

What a session carries

Times in your time zone, always

Every slot is shown in your own time zone, with the zone named on screen. A mentor in Dhaka and a mentee in New York see the same slot at their own clock time.

The meeting link is handled

The room is created on the mentor's own Google Meet or Zoom account when the booking is confirmed, or the mentor pastes their own link.

Join opens 30 minutes before

Until then the screen says so. The Join button opens the meeting in a new tab when the door is open.

Your sessions in one list

All, upcoming, pending, completed and cancelled. Each card shows the session, the other person, the status, the date, the length and the meeting platform.

A session type is a product

Mentors publish as many as they like, each with its own length, price, buffer, capacity and availability. Turn one off without deleting it.

A booking link you can share

Every mentor has a public link to their profile, and every session type has its own link to copy anywhere.

The detail, without the guesswork

Every one of these is a setting in the product, not a description of one.

Session models
Regular weekly, recurring, or one time. The model decides how the mentor's availability is expressed.
Durations
30, 45, 60, 90 or 120 minutes. A fixed menu, not free text.
Price
Free, or a price in the mentor's currency. USD, EUR, GBP, BDT, INR, CAD, AUD or SGD.
Buffer
The mentor can leave a gap after a session, up to 2 hours.
Meeting room
Created automatically on the mentor's connected Google Meet or Zoom account, or a link the mentor pastes.
Statuses
Requested, paid, confirmed, completed, cancelled, refunded. The screen always shows the server's own label.
Reminders
24 hours before and 1 hour before, in the app.
Review
After a completed session the mentee rates the mentor out of 5 and writes a comment.
